Gardenia Information

Gardenia flowers are sometimes used to flavor tea, much like jasmine and bergamot oils, but are used mostly in perfumery ~ especially oriental fragrances. Since Gardenia is known as “osmically balanced” (meaning that the compounds are perfectly balanced, containing a base, middle, and top note), it can be worn as a single-flower perfume.

Gardenia oil has been used as an insect repellant, and for people troubled in the body or mind.
